At Baron Designs we will provide you with an appraisal certificate, upon request, issued by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) certified gemologist. This certificate indicates the specifications of your jewel and will be a precious asset if, by misfortune, you have your jewel stolen or lost (Preventive replacement value evaluation).
In addition, a certificate speeds up the process of making a claim with your insurance company.
A certificate can also be useful to obtain an evaluation of stones, jewels in the context of a division (succession or donation).
All appraisals are confidential and only the person who has requested it will receive the document.
Additional fees are required for this service and will vary depending on the type of appraisal to be done. We will confirm the price before performing the work without any obligation on your part.
No certificate?
If you do not have a certificate of appraisal, we can provide you with a quote to reproduce your jewel, based on the photos you have and the details of the stones that are included.
Finally, we also have a client file that we keep and that can be used to make an estimate if necessary.
In both cases, there is a fee for these services.
